Ingredients
Cooked Beetroot
Potatoes
Finger Chilli
Coriander
Ginger Paste
Masala spices or feel free to add your preferred spices
All-purpose flour
Bread crumbs
Salt
Instructions
Boil potatoes.
In a bowl, grate the cooked beetroot, and add chopped chilli, chopped coriander, ginger paste, spices, and salt.
Heat some oil in a pan and cook the ingredients for 5 minutes.
Add boiled potatoes to the pan, and mash the potatoes into the mixture using a potato masher.
Let the potatoes cook for 2 minutes, and then leave the mixture to come to room temperature.
Take small amounts of the mixture in between the palms, shape them into a round ball, and then flatten them.
In a bowl, mix two spoons of all-purpose flour with some water.
Dip the flattened cutlets into the slurry, and then coat them with breadcrumbs.
Add oil to a pan and place the cutlets. Cook from both sides.
Remove the cutlets from the pan after each side is cooked.
